LOOK: Viral delivery rider gifted with brand-new bike

A man who went viral for riding an old bicycle to deliver long-distance orders has received a brand-new one from kind-hearted donors.

A Facebook post by a certain Michael Jamandre recently touched the hearts of netizens after he shared his inspiring encounter with a delivery rider named Jeffrey Sioson, who pedaled from Binondo, Manila to Bacoor, Cavite to bring the ordered product.

Michael said that he was already getting mad that his order was taking too long to arrive, but Jeffrey requested him to wait a little bit more.

“Una nagagalit pa ako kasi ba’t ang tagal halos three hours wala pa,” said Michael who ordered action figures at around 1 p.m. on Monday, February 15.

His annoyance disappeared as soon as he learned that Sioson rode all the way from Binondo to his home.

Michael also related that the store, where he purchased the toys from, actually hires tambays or jobless folks loitering around.

On Tuesday, a certain JB Carrasco of the clothing brand Tondo Cartel reached out to Sioson to give him a brand-new bike.

Some generous people also gave Sioson money to buy protective gears such as cycling shoes, gloves and helmet, among others.
