Maris Racal and Sue Ramirez strongly condemned a circulating photo of them together that was “digitally altered” to make them appear nude.
Both actresses took to social media to air their frustration over people who have been sharing the maliciously edited picture.
“There’s an edited photo of Sue and I spreading online. Pag-aari namin ‘to,” wrote Maris in tweet on Tuesday, January 26.
She added, “2021 na, manyak ka pa rin? Magbago na.”
Sue, meanwhile, shared in an Instagram post the original photo to address the issue. It showed both of them wearing two-piece swimsuits while lounging by a pool, which was taken during their trip to Thailand in 2019.
Umayos kayo,” said Sue in the caption.
She went on to score those who easily fell for the doctored photo and passed it on to others without checking if it was legit.
“AT ‘WAG TANGA PLS.
Sue also urged her followers to help her find the culprit as she warned that she will “get to the bottom of this.”
Kulturang MAPANIRA. Kulturang KASUKLAM-SUKLAM.
“THIS CAN HAPPEN TO ANYONE. Sa nakakaalam kung san nagsimula ito, please contact me through DM. Help me get to the bottom of this.”
