Julia Barretto looked back on her childhood days in a birthday greeting for her older sister Dani. The actress wrote about how much she looked up to her ate when they were still kids.
“When we were little, I always wanted to be in the same dress as you,” she started.
The 23-year-old then listed down all the moments from when they were still kids that proved her admiration for Dani. She also recounted that she even wanted the exact same dress her sister had on.
“I’ve always looked up to you, and I’ve always been your #1 fan. With my circumstance, I usually forget how young I am. That’s when I find myself running to YOU.
“Running to my ATE. It’s how you look out for me, how you protect me and love me. I can’t ask for a better sister, Dan. I tell you this all the time but I LOVE YOU,” she wrote.
Dani replied to Julia’s heartfelt message, thanking her for also being an ate whenever she needs it.
“Sometimes ates need to be reminded that we don’t have everything figured out all the time,” she said.
Meanwhile, Dani’s husband Xavi Panlilio and mom Marjorie Barretto also had special Instagram posts to mark her birthday.
Marjorie shared photos from the “third” birthday celebration of her firstborn.
Xavi, on the other hand, praised his wife for giving him new purpose as husband and father to their daughter Millie.
“Thank you so much for being such an amazing wife! You keep the house clean, you keep my tummy full, and you keep my heart super happy.
“Raising Millie with you has given me so much purpose! I will always try my best to be better not just for you and Millie, but for our family!! I love you so much! Happy birthday,” said Xavi.
