Oops! It’s Showtime’s Miss Q and A 2018 second runner-up Lars Pacheco experienced a wardrobe malfunction Friday live on television.
Lars was standing beside Kuya Kim Atienza, singing the noontime show’s theme song during the opening number, when her dress accidentally slid up, exposing her right boob for about three seconds.
Initially unaware, Lars perhaps saw herself on screen and immediately turned her back to fix her dress.
Netizens were quick to share video clips of the incident, making “Lars” a trending topic on Twitter.
Others, however, appealed to show respect to Lars and stop spreading the clips.
Before the program continued, host Vice Ganda issued an apology in behalf of It’s Showtime and stressed that it was unintentional.
He said, “Gusto lang po naming bigyang linaw ang naganap kaninang pangyayari kay Lars Pacheco. Nagkaroon po ng wardrobe malfunction kanina si Lars Pacheco. Wala pong may kagustuhan nun.
“Kahit po si Lars ay hindi kagustuhan ang pangyayari, at sino man sa mga host o bahagi ng programang ito ay hindi ginusto ang mga pangyayari. At kahit po si Lars ay sobrang na-embarrass sa pangyayaring ‘yon.”
“Kaya kung meron man pong na-offend doon ay humihingi kami ng paumanhin sa lahat po ng nakakita at nakapanood,” Vice ended.
