Former radio jock Jinri Park took to social media to open up on how her 30s are going after her celebrity stint in the Philippines.
Jinri was a former Pinoy Big Brother housemate during its “Lucky 7” edition. After her big break, she turned to modeling, acting and hosting.
“If I had to describe my 20s in a word it would be glamour. From all the fun time I had during my college days, just drinking and clubbing with my friends to becoming a radio jock, model, actress and host, it’s definitely been exciting,” she said.
Though her short stay in the industry had its heartbreaks and hardships, looking back at it now, she said she has definitely lived her life to the fullest.
“Not saying that it was all fun, I had my fair share of being a newbie in the industry, heartbreaks, hardships etc (just as everyone else). But When I look back now, I can definitely say I lived my life to the fullest,” she explained.
Now that she’s in her 30s, she admitted her life took a 180-degree turn. Jinri is now based in Australia, married and employed as a trainee waitress.
“Honestly, when I moved to Sydney I didn’t know what I wanted to do. I felt like I was back to zero, with not knowing what career path I’d want to take,” she said.
She opened up that she wanted to transition from her former glamorous life into something she would want to do for the rest of her life.
“After months of thinking and discussing with family, I got to choose something I thought would be a good match for my strengths and personality. I can’t tell you right now but will definitely update everyone once it starts!”
She’s presently using her waitress gig to earn money to pay for her schooling in Australia.
“Looking forward to my new start, taking responsibility for my future. These are exciting times, it’s never too late to start again. Don’t ever be afraid to do something new, to start from the bottom and build your way up again,” she ended.
In March, Jinri decided to get married to her Fil-Aussie boyfriend, John, in an intimate ceremony due to COVID-19 situation.
On Instagram, she shared how she is patiently waiting for her “official” wedding date, when her friends and family from Korea and the Philippines can attend the event.
