Ai-Ai delas Alas is saying yes to same-sex relationships but saying no to same-sex marriage.
On January 6, the Supreme Court junked the petition to legalize same-sex marriage in the country.
The actress-comedienne shared how she felt about it by reposting the news on Instagram with a praying hands emoji as caption.
“Ako okay lang sa akin magmahalan ang same sex. Ganun, pag-ibig yun eh. Pero kasi diba nasa bibiliya yun, na ang babae para sa lalaki, ang lalaki para sa babae,” said Ai-Ai during the press conference of her upcoming movie D’Ninang, as seen in a live video uploaded by Regal Entertainment, Inc. on Facebook.
“Wala akong (anything) against sa pagmamahalan ng same-sex…Oo naman siyempre, nadaanan ko na rin lahat ‘yan at alam niyo yun. Yun lang kasal ang hindi ako pabor. Pero yung sa relationship OK ako jan, pagmamahalan yan eh,” she added.
Ai-Ai said that when gay friends ask her to be a godparent on their weddings, she begs off.
“Umo-oo ako pero hindi ako uma-attend. Di ako naniniwala diyan, pero mahal ko kayo kaya eto ang pakimkim, at ito yung chorva,” she said.
The veteran comedienne will star in the upcoming comedy film D’Ninang along with Kisses Delavin and McCoy De Leon.
