SEA Games gold medalist Carlos Yulo has warned his followers and fans not to be misled by various fake accounts emerging on social media.
Following the reported dummy account of Carlos, he recently made his own and real Twitter account with the handle @c_edrielzxs.
Talk about being an instant Twitter celebrity, he now has over 90,000 followers.
His account instantly had the blue badge that means it’s already verified just a day after it was created (wow!).
In a pinned tweet, he addressed his fans on Twitter to report, unfollow and block dummy accounts.
Fans can also follow him on other official social media accounts: Instagram (@c_edrielzxs), and Snapchat ( @edrieeeeel). You’re welcome.
The award-winning gymnast updates his fans on his upcoming competition, his appeal to support Filipino athletes, not to mention the memes connected to his “naiingayan ako” statement via his Twitter account.
His reported dummy account with the handle @carlos_yulo with over 40,000 followers, which was created last October, had since been taken down by Twitter.
