Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo’s life has changed since her secret wedding with actor Matteo Guidicelli last February 20 this year.
Now that she’s a wife to the athlete-actor, the 31-year-old singer-actress said that this time around, she no longer attends to her needs, but to the needs of her husband as well.
“Siyempre, dumating na ako sa punto na hindi lang ang sarili ko ang iisipin ko. Being a wife, I get the chance to spend most of my time with my husband. So I have to attend to his needs,” Sarah explained in a report from Pilipino Star Ngayon.
Since Metro Manila has been in quarantine for a month or so, as newlyweds, Sarah said it gave them time to adjust better to each other.
“We’re given enough time to know each other better, I think. Iyon ang pinaka-importante dahil nakakapag-adjust kami sa isa’t isa,” she shared.
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Sarah then urged her fans to still find ways to make their days better even while they are at home.
“Sa halip na nakatuon tayo sa mga negatibong bagay, gumawa po tayo ng paraan upang lalong mas mapaganda ang ating buhay. Kahit nasa loob lang tayo ng ating mga tahanan,” she said.
The couple tied the knot with a civil wedding ceremony last February 20. AshMatt, as their fans call them, have been a couple since 2014.
