Actress Ara Mina is now engaged to her government official-boyfriend!
Philippine International Trading Corporation (PITC) Undersecretary Dave Almarinez, 46, can be seen getting down on one knee and proposing to Ara Mina, 41, in a series of pictures shared by Nice Print Photography on social media.
In one photo, the couple showed off the engagement ring with a “Will You Marry Me?” signage in the background.
The Ang Probinsyano star was also captured getting emotional during the proposal.

This most beautiful moment, priceless,” Nice Print captioned their posts on Instagram and Facebook.
It appeared that the engagement took place in San Pedro, Laguna. Almarinez used to serve as board member of the provincial government, according to his PITC profile.
In a Magandang Buhay interview last January 11, Ara confirmed that she was exclusively dating someone, whom she only described as a “non-showbiz” person who is in the “trading” business.
“Basta nasa stage kami na nagkakaintindihan kami. Pero kasi sa age namin ngayon, parang hindi na yung ligawan rules na ano. Basta pag sinabi ko ready na ako, committed na talaga ako, alam niya kasi yung priority ko…,” she said.
According to the actress, what she likes about him is that he’s career-oriented like her.
When asked if she thinks he’s the one, Ara said in the same TV interview, “Kung tatanungin niyo ako, parang feeling ko, ako lang yung hinihintay niya kung talagang mag-ko-commit ako. Kasi sa nakikita ko nga, pag sinabi ko, sige ready na ako, parang lalagay na ako sa tahimik.”
Ara said that Almarinez has already met her daughter and other family members.
