This three-year-old boy proves that chicken is life but sleep is ‘lifer!’
Mark Bryan Rongie Carpina shared a hilarious video of his nephew, Mason Zero Velarde, who was trying to stay awake while eating his fried chicken at a fast-food store in Quezon City on Saturday.
“Maaga po kasi siya nagising dahil excited po mag [mall], pagdating po namin dun pinaglaro namin siya sa Kidzoona habang nag grocery po kami. Ayun napagod po ata kakalaro,” Carpina told The Philippine STAR.
In the video, Carpina and his family can be heard talking to Mason, who couldn’t keep his eyes open while eating.
“Bubye, uwi na kami. Halika na uwi na tayo,” Mason’s family said.
“Kagat pa rin siya oh. Inaantok ka na, ayaw mo pa rin tumigil,” Carpina added while laughing.
As of this writing, the uploaded video on TikTok has already garnered more than 3.7 million views.
“Pamangkin kong antok na antok na ayaw pa rin magpaawat sa pagbanat ng manok ???,” he wrote in the caption.
Netizens found the clip amusing as the viral video gave viewers a good laugh.
“Real definition of multitasking eating while resting,” a netizen commented.
“Baka muscle memory na ata ‘yan ?,” another said.
Carpina shared that they attempted to take his chicken, but Mason would not let go of his favorite food.
“Kinikuha na namin ‘yung manok sa kanya ngunit ayaw niya talaga bitawan niyayakap pa niya,” he added.
