Cesar Montano has added another feather to his cap after graduating with a master’s degree at 60 years old.
The actor received his bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication at the Lyceum of the Philippines in April 2009.
In a Facebook post, Cesar shared photos from his graduation ceremony as he earned his master’s degree in Public Safety Administration from Philippine Public Safety College in Quezon City.
Cesar also showed off during a Facebook live the Best Policy Paper bronze medal award he received during the event.
It was during the COVID-19 lockdown when Cesar decided to take up his master’s degree to make the most out of his time amid the impact of the pandemic on the entertainment industry.
“I was a scholar, too. I want to inspire people by showing them there’s no substitute for education,” Cesar was quoted as saying in the said report.
