Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano are excited soon-to-be parents as they share the first-ever glimpse at their baby’s face.
The celebrity couple made the big reveal on a Youtube video as they captured the moments from the expecting mom’s checkup, now that she’s on her 6th month of pregnancy.
Luis also explained why they wanted to check on their baby at this point of the pregnancy. He said: “Kasi di ‘ba sabi nila, kapag months mas buo na ang mukha.”
While observing their baby at the hospital, the two joked about where their baby got her looks.
“Thank you, Lord, kamukha niya,” Luis joked.
In the video, Jessy also assured her fans that she’s doing well even after contracting COVID-19 back in September.
“Peanut is okay. Peanut is normal even after my COVID infection. We’re just really grateful kasi diba si Peanut strong. Normal ang growth niya, ang weight niya,” she shared as she called her baby with the sweet pet name they came up with.
It was in September when Jessy revealed she was ill with COVID-19 for 11 days.
“I had symptoms and for me, it was the hardest 11 days of my life. It was my first time to get infected with the virus. I never thought I would get it while 5 months (and 3 weeks) pregnant,” she said on a past Instagram post.
