Kim Chiu just penned a hilarious letter addressed to her face shield, expressing her gratitude for its two years of service.
On social media, the actress joked about how she will miss her face shield but it’s time to “move on”.
“Salamat sa lahat ng pinagsamhan natin, almost two years din tayo mag-ON, masaya ako na dumating ka sa buhay ko kahit minsan naiinis nako sayo pero wala akong narinig na reklamo mula sayo, salamat sa pag protekta sakin sa mga bagay na kinakatakutan ko.
“Ikaw pa nga ang unang humaharap. Masaya ako na nakilala face to face. Mamimiss kita, pero I think its about time to let go!!!! Ingat ka ha?? Wag kana balik. Move on na tayo,” she wrote.
Kim’s Instagram post, featured a collage of her sporting her face shield while hosting for ABS-CBN’s noontime variety show, It’s Showtime.
It was just this Monday when President Rodrigo Duterte approved the pandemic task force’s recommendation to ease the policy on face shields.
The use of face shields is voluntary for areas under alert levels 1, 2 and 3, and mandatory for areas under alert level 5 and granular lockdowns.
