Filipino-American nurse Vaughn Mugol had three coaches turning their chairs for him during the blind auditions on The Voice, but it was coach Ariana Grande who won his heart.
On social media, the hopeful singer gushed over his coach of choice.
“I cannot even express how amazing it is to be able to work with my coach @arianagrande! Truly you are an amazing coach and a friend. Very thoughtful and down to earth. I am super excited to represent #TeamAriana on this season of @nbcthevoice,” he wrote.
Ariana then replied to his post with the sweetest response: “love you! Most phenomenal angel-human.”
During his audition on the reality competition, Vaughn sang Ed Sheeran’s The A Team and made three coaches — John Legend, Kelly Clarkson and Ariana — turn their chairs.
“I wanna help you sing the right songs. I wanna answer any questions that you have regarding my experiences and help you to where you wanna go as an artist. I wanna help you get to the healthiest place with your instrument that you’ve ever been in your life,” Ariana told the Texas-based singer.
