More than a month after she won her battle against COVID-19, Sunshine Cruz opened up on how the disease has changed her life..
In a social media post, the actress shared that after recovering from the illness, her lungs have been very weak.
“Even after testing negative for COVID, I’ve been having sleepless nights from coughing. I’ve declined guestings that require me to sing because of my persistent cough,” she said.
After her quick beach getaway in Batangas with her three daughters — Angelina, Sam and Chesca — the happy mom said that she is finally feeling better.
“Dagat lang pala ang kailangan ko,” she wrote.
She then thanked the Lord for the four days she was blessed with to spend time with her daughters.
“Thank you for healing me. I can finally work out. Pwede na din ulit ako kumanta,” she ended.
Sunshine recovered from COVID-19 back in April after testing positive on March 27. She contracted the virus during their locked-in taping for Bagong Umaga.
