Just recently, Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto along with her sister Dani and Claudia launched an online fundraiser for a quarantine facility to be built at the Fe del Mundo Medical Center in Quezon City.
The Barretto sisters said the facilities will serve to lessen the burden of hospitals.
“Inisip ko na I should call out my sisters, magsanib-pwersa kaming tatlo to raise funds to be able to have one quarantine facility built. So nakipag collaborate kami with the people na nagpapatayo ng facility,” she said in a report from Pilipino Star Ngayon.
With the extension of the community quarantine in various parts of the country, Julia admitted that the current situation has given her a new perspective on life.
“Nakakabigay siya ng new perspective sa ating lahat. Siguro for me nagbago ang perspective ko sa maraming bagay, like the moments na sana we didn’t take for granted. Kasi it’s very easy for us to see our friends, see our families, go out and work, like normal,” she said.
Julia added that she now realized that there are bigger problems to worry about.
“Yung mga social media na dati ay kinaka-worry pa natin, yung mga sinasabi ng tao ay wala pala talaga kasi mas marami pa palang mas mahalagang kailangang bigyan ng pansin,” Julia ended.
