Amid the coronavirus pandemic, local gigs and shows have been cancelled after the Department of Health asked the public to practice social distancing and staying indoors to prevent the spread of the virus.
These musicians from Kean Cipriano’s record label are determined to bring us music, especially in these challenging times. O/C Records is home to well-loved local performers such as Unique Salonga, Callalily and Johnoy Danao.
In a Facebook post, O/C Records announced that they promise to hold an online concert to spread love and optimism.
“We’re musicians and we won’t let anything stop us from playing music for people who love our music. My team and I have been working on this for quite some time now and we will make sure that all safety measures will be applied when we execute this.”
While they’re still trying to arrange the online event, they asked their followers to take extra precautions.
“For now, let’s keep each other safe. Stay home. Secure our families and loved ones,” they said.
