This actually stemmed from a comment of a netizen on Philippine STAR’s post about a bettor from Isabela who won the 6/49 Super Lotto last February.
Facebook user Senyor Arturo Teodoro Villareal jokingly congratulated the winner, addressing as an actual person, with Isabella as the first name and Bettor as the surname.
A netizen took a screenshot of Villareal’s comment — and a meme was born. The post has garnered over 39,000 “haha reactions” and 31,000 shares on Facebook.
Until Wednesday, netizens congratulated yet another member of the “Bettor family” for winning the lotto.
