Gela Atayde and Zaijian Jaranilla fueled romance buzz as Gela’s sweet birthday post for the actor has sparked fresh dating rumors.
For Zaijian’s 25th birthday on August 23, Gela shared cozy photos of the two of them on Instagram with the message, “hbd to my idol since ‘09. Love you, sungit,” complete with heart and star emojis.
The post came after the two were reportedly spotted holding hands at Shangri-La Mall on August 14. Their closeness has been fueling romance rumors since 2025, when Gela posted a TikTok featuring a mystery man whom many thought looked like Zaijian.
Gela also appeared to confirm that she was in love during a March 2026 media event. When asked if someone was making her “bloom,” she answered, “Siguro po,” before admitting, “Opo,” when asked if she was already in love. She added that the mystery guy was also in showbiz and that their relationship was “recent but not too long.”
The two have yet to make an official statement regarding their relationship status.
