K-pop group KARD is officially parting ways after nine years together.

The announcement was made by the group’s agency, DSP Media, which confirmed that the decision was reached after discussions with all four members J.seph, BM, Somin, and Jiwoo.

In a statement, the agency revealed that KARD’s upcoming album, “Where To Now? (Part.2): NOWHERE”, scheduled for release on July 28, will serve as the group’s final album before embarking on a world tour that will serve as a farewell to their fans around the globe.

DSP Media expressed its gratitude to the group’s fandom, HIDDEN KARD, for supporting the members throughout their career.

“First and foremost, we would like to sincerely thank HIDDEN KARD for your unwavering love and support for KARD throughout the years. After careful and thoughtful discussions with all four members, we have mutually agreed that this album and tour will mark the conclusion of KARD’s journey as a group,” the statement read.

“We would like to once again express our heartfelt gratitude to HIDDEN KARD for standing by KARD every step of the way. We also hope you will continue to support and encourage each member as they begin the next chapter of their individual journeys,” the agency added.

The company also shared that the members are preparing their final promotions with fans in mind.

“The members have poured their hearts into preparing this album and tour, and we sincerely hope these final activities will become cherished memories for HIDDEN KARD. We kindly ask for your continued love and support until the very end as KARD shares one final chapter with you in the way only they can.”

KARD debuted in 2017 as one of the few co-ed groups in the K-pop industry. They have since released hit songs such as “Oh NaNa”, “Don’t Recall”, “Hola Hola”, “Bomb Bomb”, and “Icky”.
