James Reid had fans screaming after he playfully teased Daniel Padilla during a mall event by mentioning the latter’s ex-girlfriend, Kathryn Bernardo.
When asked about his upcoming projects, James shared, “I’m working on an album. We’re also shooting a teleserye that we’ve been working on, malapit na malapit na actually, ‘Someone, Someday.’”
He then appeared to hesitate before mentioning his co-stars, saying, “Of course, me with uh…” before lightly tapping Daniel and adding Kathryn’s name.
Daniel, who had been busy waving to fans, reacted with a grin as the crowd erupted in shrieks.

Daniel and Kathryn were together for 11 years before confirming their breakup in November 2023. The actor is currently being romantically linked to Kaila Estrada, while Kathryn is rumored to be dating Mark Alcala.
