BACOLOD, October 16, 2025 – Mountain Dew returns to Bacolod to celebrate one of the country’s most vibrant and colorful traditions: the world-renowned Masskara Festival. In partnership with Megaworld, Mountain Dew is set to be part of the city’s biggest spectacles, from parades to street performances, amplifying the energy of Bacolod as the City of Smiles.
As a proud partner of the festivities at The Upper East, Megaworld, Mountain Dew will be part of some of the most anticipated events of the month-long celebration: the Mask-Higantes and Mega Smiles Parade on October 15, the Electric Masskara on October 17, and the Mascot Parade on October 18. These highlight events showcase the creativity, culture, and contagious energy of Bacolod and Mountain Dew
Apart from The Upper East, Mountain Dew is also taking the Masskara Festival to the streets with activations at key hotspots around Bacolod. From October 16 to 19, Dew booths will light up the Bacolod City Government Center. From October 17 to 19, the excitement continues across the Bacolod Public Plaza, Lacson Street, and SM City Bacolod.
Festival-goers can look forward to action-packed Dew booths where they can purchase a Mountain Dew MSPET Bottle for only Php 40 to unlock instant prizes and join adventurous games such as:
- Sabit-Saya sa Bote – toss rings around Dew bottles to win.
- Bote-Bangga – knock down as many bottles as you can with rubber bands in 30 seconds.
- Advencha Shots – land bottle caps into Dew cups to score rewards.
Attendees can enjoy photo areas with instant prints, roving brand ambassadors selling Mountain Dew, and refreshing Dew Lemonade stands serving as pit stops during the festivities.
