K-pop girl group TWICE has performed at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan this weekend without one of its members, Jeongyeon.
On October 2, JYP Entertainment announced that Jeongyeon would not be participating in TWICE’s “THIS IS FOR” world tour stop in Bulacan on Saturday, Oct. 4 due to health reasons.
In its official statement, the agency expressed regret over the news and apologized to fans eagerly anticipating the concert.
“We sincerely apologize to all the fans who have been waiting for this concert and are truly sorry to deliver such disappointing news,” the announcement read.
JYP also thanked fans for their continued support, adding that Jeongyeon’s health and recovery remain their top priority.
“After much careful consideration, this decision was made inevitably with the artist’s health and recovery as our utmost priority. We kindly ask for your understanding.”
“We are always grateful for the tremendous love and support you give to TWICE, and once again, we deeply apologize for the sadness and disappointment this may cause,” the statement concluded.
The Bulacan show is part of the first half of TWICE’s “THIS IS FOR” world tour, which spans several stops across Asia, before continuing to the U.S. and Europe in its second half.
Meanwhile, the group is set to celebrate its 10th debut anniversary this month along with the release of a special full-length album, titled “TEN: The Story Goes On”, which is scheduled to be released on Oct. 10, 2025.
