Filipina singer-actress Aubrey Caraan will pair up with South Korean artist Lee Dae Won in a cross-cultural music project as the first official venture under the newly signed partnership between Viva Communications Inc. and Milagro Korea.
This collaboration between two promising young stars marks the beginning of creative collaborations between South Korea and the Philippines, blending Filipino OPM music with the global appeal of Korean pop culture.
The announcement came shortly after Viva reached an agreement with Milagro last July 9 for a strategic entertainment partnership. Its objective is to represent Korean artists in the Philippines and nurture Filipino talents for the Korean market.
Aubrey is known for her lead role as Samantha Vera in the hit Viva One series “Avenues of the Diamond” and her breakout single How You Feel brings her distinctly Pinoy artistry to the table. And she will be working alongside Lee Dae Won, a multi-talented Korean artist who has made his mark as a former member of idol group OFFROAD.
The collaboration is part of the initiative led by Viva Group of Companies chairman of the Board and CEO Vicente “Boss Vic” del Rosario Jr. and Milagro Korea COO Yoo Jisang, Viva Artists Agency president and COO Veronique Del Rosario-Corpus, along with Viva Records Corporation president Verb Del Rosario to foster creative exchange between the two entertainment powerhouses.
With more collaborative projects under this long-term partnership, there’s plenty to anticipate from a new age of Philippine-Korean entertainment.
