As parts of the country grapple with the inclement weather, several determined Pinoy live sellers have remained “unbothered” as they continued their online businesses even while knee-deep in floodwaters.
Live sessions from online sellers on TikTok showed their perseverance to wade through murky waters while promoting fitting products for the rainy season which include waterproof pants, raincoats, boots, and umbrellas.

TikTok user CALEVEL, who claimed to be from Calumpit, Bulacan, showed two sellers navigating above-the-knee flood inside what appeared to be their home.

To prove the water’s authenticity, one of the sellers even caught small fish using a kitchen strainer that left viewers both amused and bewildered.
Another TikTok user, Valine, was seen walking through a flooded street outside her home to demonstrate the effectiveness of waterproof boots.

While many netizens expressed concern for the sellers’ safety, others couldn’t help but be entertained by the sellers’ resilience and humor amid the weather situation.
“Tawang tawa ako rito. Binabaha na nga, nakahanap pa rin ng way para sumaya at magbenta,” one user commented.
“Baha ka lang, alipin kami ng salapi AHAHAHA,” said another.
Severe Tropical Storm Crising devastated large parts of the country with heavy rainfall, flooding, and landslides that left five people dead and more than 370,000 affected, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council reported on Sunday, July 20.
Though it has exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), Crising continues to enhance the southwest monsoon, bringing moderate to heavy rains across Metro Manila, parts of Luzon, and portions of Visayas over the next three days, according to PAGASA’s advisory on Tuesday, July 22.
PAGASA further warned that monsoon rains may persist over the next three days, while two low pressure areas (LPA) are being monitored, one of which has a “medium” chance of developing into a tropical cyclone.
