Ruffa Gutierrez admitted that she and Herbert Bautista are going through a rough patch in their relationship.
The beauty queen-turned-actress recently revealed in an interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda that they are currently not on speaking terms.
The revelation came after she was asked whether she was in a live-in setup with the former Quezon City mayor.
“I’ve never lived with a person. Hindi ako naniniwala sa live-in,” explained Ruffa.
Ruffa went on to say that maintaining space has been key to her long-lasting relationships.
“Kaya ‘yung mga relasyon ko nagtatagal kasi may space. ‘Di ba, excited kayo to see each other? Kung everyday gumigising ka na siya ang katabi mo, parang, ‘Oh my gosh!’” she shared.
Ruffa said both she and Herbert have been busy with personal matters and are now reflecting on whether to continue or end their relationship.
“We’re going through a bump right now, and we’re not speaking. So, let’s see if that bump will last or we’ll speak again.I don’t know,” said Ruffa.
“Well, I have been busy also, and he has other things that he should take care of as well when it comes to personal matters. So maybe this is also a good time, kasi it’s been five years since we first met again on the set of a project we did.”
Ruffa and Herbert reconnected in 2020 while filming The House Arrest of Us.
She added, “So, limang taon. Magandang space ‘to para makita natin kung itutuloy ba or ihihinto natin.”
