Every P-pop idol group has their bunso – the youngest member of the lineup.
Much like the bunsos in every Pinoy family or barkada, the youngest members of a P-pop group often give character to the group’s dynamic with their cuteness and charm.They’re innocent, adorable, and often showered with love—not just by fans, but also by their older co-members, whom they fondly call ate or kuya.
But being young doesn’t mean they lack experience. These bunsos are more than capable of showing their powerful auras in every performance, meaning that they’re not just there to charm away our hearts – they’re here to dominate the scene.
And dominate, they surely do. We can see it with hitmakers like BINI who has been painting the nation teal ever since they found their solid ground on bubblegum pop, and their bunso Sheena bulldozing through the P-pop scene as she goes viral every now and then with her powerful dancing and bubbly energy. ALAMAT, meanwhile embodies P-pop by championing Pinoy culture and values that translates into their musical pieces, with their youngest member Jao making hearts swoon with his killer moves and stylish fits.
Conversely, newcomers like HORI7ON combine elements of K-pop and P-pop to offer the world a global boy group, with their bunso Marcus showcasing a Pinoy twist of doing “aegyo“, while 6ENSE blends raw emotion, artistry, and energy upon their entry to the P-pop scene, with their bunso Hunter focused on making his mark in the worlds of music and theater.
To celebrate these talented young idols, StarCast Exclusive launched its poll titled “The Baby Bosses: Bunso Domination” poll on March 3, 2025 and will last until 8:00 pm of March 31, 2025.
