Camarines Sur Governor Luigi Villafuerte and girlfriend Yassi Pressman shocked the audience and netizens with their public “make out session” at the 2024 Kaogma Festival.
Yassi graced the province’s festival celebration’s as a guest performer on its opening night on Thursday, May 23.
Following Yassi’s solo performance that included an aerial dance number, Villafuerte shared the stage with the actress and went lovey-dovey while singing a duet of Enrigue Iglesia’s “Hero”.
“I love you baba,” Villafuerte told Yassi before they finished singing the song and cupped the actress’ face for a more than 10-second lip to lip kiss, sending the audience into a frenzy.
“One more!,” Villafuerte, seemingly hyped, shouted before planting another kiss on Yassi’s lips and a third one before finally getting off the stage.

This has since garnered mixed reactions from the online community, with some poking fun and getting “kilig” over the couple while others were bothered, saying the PDA-filled moment was inappropriate for such a public event.
“Grabi ka na Gov Luigi! [heart emojis],” said a TikTok user.
“Nasobrahan gov HAHHAHAHAHA,” said another.
“GET A ROOM!!!! Di napigilan ni koya. Umaatikabo! Hahaha. Yan po ang Governor ng Camarines Sur! Lol,” said an X user.
“Ilagay niyu sa lugar l*pl*p*n [niyo] grabe hahahahahha diko expect umabot si Yassi sa ganyan, public servant [pero] not good role model yung gov hahaha andaming tao nyan hahaha ews,” commented another.

Some also pointed out that Yassi seemed uncomfortable with her beau’s gesture.
