Darren Espanto and Kyline Alcantara humored netizens with their playful banter after reuniting at a recent episode of It’s Showtime.
Kyline is one of the latest Kapuso stars to have an opening number on the Kapamilya show following its debut on GMA Network last April 6.
Following her performance with singer Jeremy G, Kyline interacted with the It’s Showtime hosts with Kim Chiu telling the actress in jest: “Habang kumakanta ka, mayroong nakatingin sa ‘yo, di siya kumukurap—si Darren. Sabi niya, ‘Ang galing pala ni Kyline talaga.’”
“Alam niyo po kung bakit? Kasi nga…” Kyline laughingly said in response as pointed and faced Darren.
“Ano?” asked Darren while exchanging laughter with the Kapuso actress.
“Sabihin mo,” said Kyline.
Vice then jokingly suggested, “Sa susunod daw kayo ni Darren kumanta, kanta daw kayo ‘We Are Family”.
Kyline also took to Instagram to share a clip of her strutting in the vicinity of ABS-CBN network.
Darren poked fun at the actress’ post, commenting “Kasi nga…”, sending their fans to another round of laughter.
Kyline replied, “Kasi namern”.
Darren has been persistently romantically linked to Cassy Legaspi, while Kyline formerly dated Cassy’s twin Mavy Legaspi. Darren, however, earlier clarified the real score between him and Cassy, saying they are just “best friends”.
Darren and Kyline were previously seen bonding together with the twins and their parents Carmina Villaroel and Zoren Legaspi.
