Heart Evangelista seemed to have debunked speculations concerning the health of her husband Senator Chiz Escudero.
Pep reported that speculations emerged after a blind item claimed a “male senator form Sorsogon” was hospitalized, alleging that the senator suffered a stroke, heart attack, and aneurysm.
Sources of the media outlet, however, said that the Escudero is in good shape and is just resting at home. One of the sources, meanwhile, claimed he was airlifted from Sorsogon to a hospital in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.
Heart and Chiz did not release a statement regarding the speculations, but the former went live on Instagram on Friday morning featuring her husband appearing to be in high spirits.
“Sen. Chiz malakas na malakas! Alive and kicking. Hindi totoo ang kumakalat na nasa ICU,” Pilipino Star Ngayon editor Salves Asis wrote in a social media post alongside screenshots of Heart’s live update.
