Yen Santos proudly celebrated the special day of her beau, Paolo Contis, on social media.
The actress took to Instagram on Thursday to greet the former Tahangang Pinakamasaya host on his 40th birthday.
“Screaming happy 40th birthday to my best friend! Thank you for everything you do,” Yen wrote as caption alongside throwback photos and a clip of the actor celebrating his birthday at a restaurant.
Paolo also received sweet birthday messages from his Bubble Gang and Tahanang Pinakamasaya co-hosts.
Yen and Paolo went public with their relationship more than a year after the actor’s controversial split with ex-partner LJ Reyes.
Speaking in an interview with GMA News’ Nelson Canlas, Paolo revealed the “simple” reason why he fell in love with the actress.
“When the whole thing started, the whole crucifixion started, there was a time or there was every opportunity, she had every opportunity to leave me, but she stayed.
He added, “During the time some of my friends, some of the people who actually believe me were leaving, someone stayed.”
