Kelvin Miranda aired his apologies after netizens called him out for chewing a gum while on live television and during a movie premiere.
The Kapuso star recently guested in an episode of noontime show It’s Showtime alongside Beauty Gonzalez to promote their “After All” film.
Kelvin was seen chewing his gum all throughout their appearance on the program, which draw criticisms from viewers.
Amidst the flak, the 25-year-old actor subsequently took to his social media page to say sorry for the incident, explaining that chewing gum has become his coping mechanism to reduce his anxiety.
Naging coping mechanism ko siya which is not good,” wrote Kelvin in a Facebook post.
Kelvin also stressed that his behavior was a result of trying to keep his composure amid getting overwhelmed at the time.
