Ex-couple Julia Baretto and Joshua Garcia were reportedly coming back together to work on a new film under Star Cinema.
According to a report from PEP Troika, their movie will allegedly be under the direction of box-office director Cathy Garcia-Sampana.
“Unang nagtambal sa TV, gumawa ng pelikula, naghiwalay bilang magkasintahan pero ngayo’y magkakaroon ng comeback film under Star Cinema,” the media outlet described their past projects.
It continued, “Kaabang-abang ito lalo pa’t may sakit na silang napagdaanan sa buhay, mas malalim na ang hugot nila — at siguradong mas magaling pa silang artista ngayon.”
The two were previously paired as a love team, fondly known as JoshLia, and even became a real-life couple, until their split in 2019.
Their last project together was back in February 2021 where they played the role of a couple in the music video of Moira de la Torre’s Paubaya.
Julia is currently in a relationship with Gerald Anderson, while Joshua is currently being linked to Pinay-French golfer Emilienne Vigier.
