Ciara Sotto is taking her pole dancing career to another level. The singer and actress has founded the Philippine Pole and Aerial Sports Association (PPASA).
According to their Facebook page, the PPASA is the country’s national team for pole and aerial sports. They are also recognized by the International Pole Sports Federation.
The former Eat Bulaga host took to social media to announce her milestone which took two years to come to life.
“I’m very honoured to present to you, the Philippine Pole and Aerial Sports Association (PPASA). As the Founder and President of the PPASA, I have been working on this for more than two years,” she said.
Ciara then expressed her gratitude that the Philippine Olympic Committee has recognized their group.
“This is such a great blessing from God and a very big milestone for the Pole and Aerial community in the Philippines. Hopefully, we will also be appreciated not just by our country but by the whole world,” Ciara wrote.
In a report by her home network, GMA, she revealed that she ventured into pole dancing back in 2010.
She shared that she got interested in the performance art because of how challenging and addicting it was.
