Vice President Leni Robredo praised Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla after their fans organized a donation drive for victims of recent typhoons.
In a Facebook post, Robredo called the celebrity couple, also known as KathNiel, as “good role models” for providing aid to typhoon-hit communities without fanfare, and inspiring their fans to do the same.
“KATHNIELS, fans of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, did their own donation drive for the typhoon victims,” Robredo said.
“Kathryn and Daniel have been quietly helping victims and now their fans are following their footsteps. This is the power of having good role models,” she added.
Robredo’s post showed the boxes of donations sent in by the KathNiel fans.
