Kapuso actress Nadine Samonte takes pride in her newest venture — selling dried fish online.
The Starstruck alumna shared the reason that she got into the business is because she and her daughter Heather are fond of eating danggit and dilis.
“Yes we sell dried fishes na din. You know why? Nung nakatikim ako nito super sarap why? Actually matagal nko bumibili nyan and lagi kami (meron) dito sa house kasi (fave) din ni Heather ang danggit and dilis,” shared Nadine in an Instagram post showing the products.
Nadine explained that the seafood goods such as danggit, sweet pusit, palad flakes, big dilis boneless and small dilis are all “unsalted and fresh from Masbate”.
Nadine further said that she’s not ashamed of selling these kinds of products knowing that everyone has to be extra resourceful during these trying times.
“Hindi ako nahihiya na magbenta ng ganito kasi sa panahon ngayon kelangan natin maging madiskarte and hindi nakakahiya kasi masarap talaga??,” she said.
The actress also said that her husband has labeled her as the “new D&D queen daw ako ng south hahaha meaning? Danggit and Dilis hahaha???.”
Nadine had also set up an Instagram page for her dried fish business following the “wonderful feedback and interest” from netizens.
