Philippines got its fifth Miss Tourism International crown after the country’s bet Cyrille Payumo was declared winner during the coronation night last Friday, November 8, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The Kapampangan beauty stood out among 38 other contestants, while also claiming the Best in National Costume Award.
In a congratulatory post on Facebook Mutya ng Pilipinas, it said that Cyrille was destined for the crown.
The former Mutya ng Pilipinas first runner-up replaced the original representative Tyra Rae Florito Goldman, who got rejected by the organizers due to her dual citizenship issue.
Cyrille joins four other Filipina beauties who won the title: Jannie Alipo-on (2017) Angeli Dione Gomez (2013), the late Rizzini Alexis Gomez (2020) and Peachy Manzano (2000).
