Kisses Delavin shocked fans on Friday by signing up with a new management team.
The former Kapamilya star, who first rose to fame via ABS-CBN’s reality show Pinoy Big Brother, has transferred from Star Magic to APT Entertainment’s Triple-A management, which also houses top Kapuso talents Marian Rivera and Maine Mendoza.
In an interview with the press during her contract signing with Triple A, Kisses said: “Gusto ko lang po mag-explore more, pero at the end of the day, I’m always thankful for everything that I’ve achieved through the help of PBB where I started. So, I’m so thankful for them.”
Kisses shared that she is excited for what’s to come under the wing of APT, which also produces the GMA shows Eat Bulaga, Sunday Pinasaya and Daddy’s Gurl.
“So far, I feel very blessed kasi I feel that APT is a very personal management who would really care for its talents,” she said.
“So, I’m so excited for what’s to come and I feel very grateful na alaga na po ako ni Tito Rams (David) and direk Mike (Tuviera).”
Kisses revealed that it was her idol Marian Rivera who had introduced her to APT.
“Na-meet ko po si Tito Rams through Ate Marian, before nagkita po kami sa Guillermo Awards and nagkita din po kami sa fashion show. ‘Yun, I just felt that he genuinely cared for me, and naisipan ko po na maganda po yung APT.”
Before leaving ABS-CBN’s talent management arm, Kisses shared that she was able to express her gratitude to all the staff whom she had worked with and personally bid them goodbye.
“Nagpaalam po ako sa kanila formally. Nag-wait po ako na matapos first yung contract bago mag-sign ng another one. And then, personally po, pumunta ako sa office ng Star Magic and everyone from the higher boss to all the staff na nakasama ko. Pinasalamatan ko po sila.”
“No matter what, I’m always thankful to them,” she added.
When asked about the Kapuso artists she’d like to be paired with, Kisses said that she had not personally meet them, but is looking forward to whoever she will be working with.
APT has already laid out projects for Kisses, including three movies in 2020.
Even before her possible to transfer to GMA, Kisses already had a few encounters with Kapuso artists. She’s vocal about being a fan of Maine Mendoza and Marian Rivera, and has recently worked with Kapuso comedienne Ai-Ai Dela Alas for a movie under Regal Films.
