Daddy Priestian and Sakristan reunited: Son’s emotional reaction after seeing OFW father goes viral on social media

Netizens were touched after watching a video of a 7-year-old kid from Batangas bursting into tears after seeing his OFW father.

On TikTok, the uploaded video featuring the surprise of Daddy Priestian Balbuena to his son, Sakristan, has already garnered more than 3.3M views.

According to Daddy Priestian, he did not expect that his son would be that emotional after seeing him.

Kahit si mommy din,” he told The Philippine STAR.

Daddy Priestian has been working in Singapore for almost a decade. But he was one of the thousands of employees who lost their jobs due to the pandemic in 2020.

Kasi biruin mo siguro four years old ko na siya nakita,” he shared.

Adding, “Although alam niyang ‘daddy,’ malayo ang loob. Siguro dun na nabuo ‘yung bonding namin na as father and son.

In 2023, Daddy Priestian’s family went on a vacation in Singapore as he also tried to apply for a job to his previous employer.

Unfortunately, hindi siya nag-go through. So, kailangan ko ngayon umuwi. So, isu-surprise ko nga.”  Daddy Priestian said.

‘I miss you Daddy,’ ganyan.

Daddy Priestian has a message to fellow OFWs as they continue working for their family.

“Mahirap talaga.
