Albie Casiño asked if he attended late Jaclyn Jose’s wake: ‘I don’t think my presence would be welcome’

Albie Casiño believes there was no reason for him to personally pay his last respects at the wake of late Jaclyn Jose, the mom of his ex-girlfriend Andi Eigenmann.

The actor spoke frankly when asked if he visited the wake of the late veteran actress and offered his condolences.

Jaclyn, who’s Mary Jane Guck in real life, died on March 2, 2024 and was laid to rest on March 10.

“Unang una, I just wanna say rest in peace Ms. Jane, saka condolences sa lahat ng tao na nagmamahal sa kanya pero hindi naman ako apektado dun,” Pep quoted the actor saying in a press conference for his upcoming Vivamax film.

The Can’t Buy Me Love star furthered that he  did not bother to make a condolence visit simply because his presence wasn’t expected.

“I don’t think my presence would be welcome there so ba’t ako makikiramay, di ba?” he said.

It can recalled that Albie is not on good terms with Andi after embroiling in controveries together in the past, including the time when the latter claimed that the actor is the father of her daughter with Jake Ejercito.

In a 2021 Kumu live, Albie shared what he would do if her ever crosses paths with Andi.

“Wala, dead Madela, deadma. Like I got nothing to say with you bro, you know? And my parents are always telling me, if you got nothing good to say, don’t say anything at all. So even if I was next to her in a 24 hour flight, I won’t say a word. Because I got nothing good to say to her.”
