Diego Loyzaga expressed having regrets over his failed relationship with ex-girlfriend Sofia Andres whom he considers his TOTGA or The One That Got Away.
The actor made the revelation about his former loveteam partner in a “Truth or Dare” game with Aiko Melendez on her Youtube channel.
“Barbie Imperial, Frankie Russell, Sofia Andres, Julia Montes, sino sa kanila ang maituturing mong ‘The One That Got Away?,” Aiko asked Diego.
The actor was quick to answer Sofia Andres, proceeding to admit that he did a “really big mistake” when they were together.
“No, kasi ang laki talaga ng pagkakamali ko doon kay Sofia. I wish that didn’t happen… I made a really big mistake, I was a kid. I was 20 years old… 21 years old,” revealed Diego.
“But I’m sure you’re very happy…,” trailed Aiko.
“With her life? Oh my, yes, sobra,” said Diego, telling how he’s proud and happy of what Sofia has become.
“I’m so proud, I’m so happy for her. I remember when we were together pa, those were… the things that she has now, ‘yun ‘yung mga binabanggit niya no’ng time na ‘yon na sana magkaroon siya, and she has everything now,” he continued.
Diego has not seen Sofia but recalled going after the actress in the past to seek closure.
“I remembered the last time that I saw her I went to where she was and I tried to seek closure and yes this is a long time ago,” shared Diego.
Diego now shares a child with ex-partner Alexis Suapengco while Sofia also has a daughter with businessman partner Daniel Miranda.
