Pokwang exposes ex-partner Lee O’Brian’s presence in Phl despite deportation order: ‘May padrino daw e’

Comedienne and actress Pokwang has revealed that her former beau Lee O’Brian, remains in the Philippines despite a deportation order from the Bureau of Immigration (BI).

Taking to her verified Instagram page, Pokwang shared a video about narcissistic behavior, particularly addressing how individuals with “narcissistic tendencies may use their children to manipulate their image on social media”.

In the video, the speaker explained the nuanced relationship narcissists have with their children and their strategic use of showing a loving parent image for public perception.

Pokwang wrote a cryptic caption for the shared reel which read, “Hmmmmm??? I-tag ko na ba?”

Meanwhile, an IG user commented on Pokwang’s post, sharing a personal experience about their complicated relationship with their ex-partner who has another child from another relationship while neglecting their own legal child.

“I-feel you, Mamang. Pero ex ko…yung anak nya sa mistress ang shinoshow off sa social media nya na akala mong doting father pero ang anak nyang legal sa akin never nya na naalalang puntahan at silipin kahit nung nagkasakit yung bata since iniwan nya kami para dun sa babae,” the netizen shared.

The user expressed frustration with the lack of financial support and tolerance for the ex-partner’s mistakes, “Ni sustento napaka-gulang. [I]sama mo pa dyan na tinotolerate pa ng nanay n’ya sa mga mali n’ya. [K]agigil lang ‘pag naaalala ko sya.”

In response, Pokwang empathetically embraced those going through similar situations, saying, “Yakap ng mahigpit sa ating mga may pinagdadaanan na ganyan at sa mga naghuhusga ng walang alam sa ating pakiramdam, nawa’y wag nila danasin ang sakit.”

Another follower inquired about when Pokwang would heal from the situation, to which the comedienne humorously responded, “Kapag wala na sa lupa ng [P]inas ‘yan! [M]ay padrino daw e teka lang ha! [W]ag ganon! [B]aka ipa tulfo ko sya kapag ganyan!”

“Padrino” is a system that is a prevalent Filipino cultural practice that involves people in positions of authority interceding, supporting, or granting favors to others, often based on familial ties or connections.

An Instagram user asked if Lee had not yet left the country, to which Pokwang revealed that he was still in the Philippines due to alleged connections.

“Oo may padrino pa nga kapal ng mukha!!!!! [L]ahat yan mga yan babalikan ko sila wait lang! [I]lalaban ko si Malia kahit saan kami makarating,” Pokwang candidly asserted.

It can be recalled that on December 2023, the BI issued a deportation order against Lee O’Brian in response to complaints filed by Pokwang.
