Bea Alonzo and Lolit Solis reconcile after showbiz feud

Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo and talent manager Lolit Solis had an unexpected reconciliation during the birthday celebration of Beautederm CEO and president, Rhea Tan.

A video taken by Pilipino Star Ngayon editor and columnist Salve Asis captured their moment of reconciliation during the occasion, which took place on Saturday, Nov. 25.

In the clip, Lolit can be heard saying, “Kahit noon pa sinasabi ko, kahit saan tayo magkita, magso-sorry ako. Talagang that time, ang ano ko lang naiinis ako sa isang taong malapit sa kaniya.”

Bea responded, “Unang beses ko po siyang na-meet ngayon sa personal. I’m happy na finally nagkita kami. Christmas na Christmas, nagmamahalan, nagkapatawaran.”

Bea is one of the more than 100 ambassadors of Rhea’s company, and she was among those present during the event to convey a message to the former.

On the other hand, Lolit has a close relationship with Rhea and has been supportive of the endeavors of the Beautederm CEO.

Lolit has said in the past that she doesn’t harbor personal resentment towards Bea, but rather disapproves of the statements made by Bea’s manager.

It can be recalled that their rift began at a Beautederm event when Bea’s manager banned Lolit from attending,

Solis regarded the incident as a “power trip”, asserting that the event was not Bea’s but Beautederm’s. The veteran columnist then expressed her grievances in writing, prompting Bea’s manager to threaten legal action and consult with lawyers.

The conflict escalated to the point where Solis was ousted from the talent manager association Professional Artists Managers Inc. (PAMI).

Lolit expressed her early congratulations to Bea, who is set to marry her long-time boyfriend, Dominic Roque.

“Ngayon pa lang binabati ko na siya kasi sabi, ikakasal na si Bea, di ba?,” greeted Lolit.

Meanwhile, Rhea is happy that the two have reconciled, saying “Ang sarap po kasi dapat naman talaga sa pamilya… iisa lang po yung industriya nating lahat kaya napakasarap yung feeling. Speechless.”
