This family’s send-off ceremony for their loved ones has gone viral on social media.

In the now viral video on TikTok, they can be seen holding a mini “karaoke” while singing “Kumusta Ka” by Rey Valera.

Kahit naman ‘yung ibang dumadaan nakikita nila, talagang pinanonood kami. May nagvi-video pa,” 43-year-old Allan Sta. Ana told The Philippine STAR.

The group of cousins said that they wanted to provide good vibes to their relatives before boarding the plane. They said that their relatives had no idea about their unexpected singing performance.

“‘Di [nila] alam na dala namin ‘yung videoke,” 29-year-old Gelo Bautista said.

Ana added.

They noted that karaoke nights became their main bonding moment as a family during their regular meet up every weekend at their grandmother’s house.

“Two days before, meron kaming sendoff party for Tita Kel and Tito Richie.

Aphol noted that communication is the key to maintaining a good family relationship.

Kulitan sa group chat, kwentuhan,” she said.

Instead of dwelling on the sad situation, they chose to provide happiness to their Tito Ichie at Tita Raquel before leaving the country.

“‘Yun ‘yung nakasanayan talaga namin. Laging happy vibes lang,” Aphol echoed.

As of this writing, the uploaded video on TikTok with a caption “Ayaw niyo umiyak sa airport? Bigyan niyo na lang ng kahihiyan ‘yung ihahatid niyo ?” has already garnered more than 2.4 million views on social media.
