‘Okay pa yung ALLTV’: Mark Villar denies network shutdown rumors

-

Senator Mark Villar put an end to speculations that the family-owned TV station ALLTV is shutting down amid reports of programs going off-air.

During an interview on ALLTV broadcaster Anthony Taberna’s Youtube channel Tune In Kay Tuning, the politico stressed that “ALLTV is here to stay”.

In the recent weeks, some of the network’s programs including morning show M.O.M.S (Mhies on a Mission), Wowowin, Toni Gonzaga’s Toni talk show, were reported to be temporarily going off-air.

A Pep report said that M.O.M.S, hosted by Ciara Sotto, Ruffa Gutierrez, and Mariel Rodriguez already had its last taping day. Ruffa stated that they will still be compensated while the show’s on break.

When asked if ALLTV is closing down, Villar simply said, “Hindi.”

The son of billionaire and former politician Manny Villar also made it clear that the network station is undergoing improvements.

“Nagsisimula yung ALLTV so siyempre ano rin, minsan may mga changes na ginagawa. So I think tuloy, I mean, hindi magsasara ang ALLTV,” he said.

“Just like any other companies, with regards to operations, pag may mga improvements na kailangang gawin, gagawin din nila.

“Kung may mga changes na kailangang gawin, gagawin nila para ma-improve yung product, ganun lang. Ganun lang kasimple yun.

“But, okay pa. Okay pa yung ALLTV,” he added.

He stressed that more improvements are underway.

“We can say that it will be, it will continuously improve. We’ll see continuous improvement sa ALLTV,” he said.

ALLTV, which had its soft launch in September 2022 took over the broadcast frequency previously assigned to ABS-CBN.
