BTS members send off Jin to military, post touching messages for their ‘hyung’

BTS members gathered to bid farewell to Jin, the oldest in the group, as he officially began his military duties.

As seen on the K-pop superstars’ Twitter page, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook sent off Jin Tuesday, December 13, who will fulfill his mandatory service in the military.

Photos showed the group posing and touching Jin’s freshly-shaved head all together.

“Our hyung!! Come back safely!! Love you,” read the boy band’s caption as translated to English.

J-Hope and V, meanwhile, took to their respective Instagram accounts to wish Jin well on his enlistment.

“Hyung, be healthy and happy!!! I love you!!!,” wrote J-Hope alongside photos of them dining together.

V, through Instagram story, shared a clip of him and Jin from one of their concerts writing, “1 2 3, let’s not get hurt.”

Jin, who turned 30 last December 4, released his first solo single The Astronaut last October.
