Baby milestones are one for the books not just for first-time parents, but also for Gen Z titas!
This 21-year-old photography enthusiast made sure to capture her nephew’s monthly birthday celebrations! Apparently, baby Jacksynn was an answered prayer for their family!
“10 years sila bago nagka anak at marami pa itong pinag daanan bago nabuo si baby, kaya pinag handaan nila ito sa tuwing sasapit birth month niya ay naghahanda sila ng costume, at munting salo-salo sa bahay. Ako na po mismo ang photographer niya every month,” Karine Ngani told the Philippine STAR.
But Karine did not undergo any formal training. In fact, she just learned photography through experience!
Using a mobile phone, Karine captures baby Jacksynn’s monthly milestones like a pro!
“Mahilig po ako mag picture pero ang gamit ko po ay cellphone lang minsan po ay kinukuha din ako para mag photoshoot ng mga kaibigan at kakilala ko,” she shared.
For baby Jacksynn’s 5th month birthday, Karine went all out with the help of her sister, the mother of the baby.
“Noong dumating ang 5 months naisipan ng kaniyang mama na little chef daw siya kaya nag order na sa online ito, that time hindi po namin alam kung anong background niya kaya kinuha namin ‘yung malaking kaldero ng kaniyang Lola Mina tapos ‘yung mga natirang gulay sa kusina pinaligid na lang sa kanya,” she recalled.
In a TikTok video uploaded last April 26, 2022, Karine shared the process of conducting the DIY photoshoot.
“Low budget photoshoot para sa aking pamangkin. Little Chef👨🍳” she wrote in the caption.
As of writing, the uploaded video has already garnered 3.2 million views on social media. Netizens were amazed by the creativity of Karine for her nephew.
“Nagulat na lang po ako sa loob gg 3 days punong puno ng notification ang TikTok account ko hanggang naging 3 million views, maraming natuwa, nag mention ng mga mommies gayahin daw nila sa kanilang mga babies tapos daming nagsasabi na kamukha ni Babyju,” she said.
“Sana lumaki siyang mabuti sa kaniyang kapwa at maging mabait sa kaniyang mga magulang dahil kapag malaki na siya maapreciate niya lahat ng efforts,” she added when asked about her message to her nephew.
