Kit Thompson is facing investigation after an alleged incident with showbiz newcomer girlfriend.
According to a report by ABS-CBN News’ Nikko Baua on Friday, Kit has been brought to the police for questioning after receiving a call from a hotel in Tagaytay and rescuing the victim.
A screenshot of the victim’s message to a friend showed her pleading for help while sending a photo of her bruised face. She was allegedly detained and injured by Kit.
A hotel staff also alerted the Tagaytay Police after checking on the commotion in the hotel room of the couple.
The victim was brought to the hospital and is currently undergoing treatment while Kit is being processed by the Tagaytay PNP, Baua’s report further said.
Kit’s label management Cornerstone Entertainment, on the other hand, released a statement on the matter.
They said: “We have just been informed that one of our artists, Mr. Kit Thompson, was allegedly involved in an incident that transpired last night in Tagaytay City, Cavite.
“As we have yet to receive a formal report regarding the alleged incident, we could not give a response nor comment on the matter.
“However, we request the public to be mindful of casting judgment based on unfounded reports being circulated online.”
