Kim Chiu sent a huge “thank you” to ASAP for helping her discover her skills in dancing.
The Kapamilya actress-host was recently asked by co-host Vice Ganda on It’s Showtime about when she discovered that she’s good at dancing.
“Hindi ako magaling sumayaw ma,” countered Kim.
Vice Ganda then went to expound, “Magaling ka sumayaw, pero dati hindi ka kasi ganyan eh. So kailan mo na-discover na ‘ay may talent pala ako’, kaya ko pala to’?”
Kim, in return, said that she owes it to ASAP for giving her a chance to showcase her talent and perform in the musical variety show.
The 31-year-old, whose some performances in ASAP had gone viral due to mishaps, said that she wasn’t really into dancing when she was young, but has learned and improved through the years.
“Sa ASAP talaga sobrang malaki talaga yung pasasalamat ko. Dahil nagkakamali ako sa sayaw, nagkahulog-hulog, nakalimutan ko na yung mga steps, pero binibigyan parin nila ako ng pagkakataon na sumayaw sa stage,” Kim related.
She added, “Hanggang sa hiya ko nalang eh dapat galingan ko na. Nahasa nalang ng panahon.”
Kim currently holds ASAP’s “Queen of the Dancefloor” title.
