Filipina-American TikTok celebrity Bella Poarch recently shared the heartbreaking reason behind her tattoos.
Bella opened up a bit about her past after a netizen on Tiktok asked her, “Why do you have so many tattoos? They don’t fit you.”
The 19-year-old responded by way of a TikTok video showing the tattoos on different parts of her body.
“I had a rough childhood. My scars from abuse made me insecure. And so I had to cover up my scars with tattoos,” wrote Bella as caption.
In the comment section, Bella left a message for those going through a tough time.
“I wasn’t comfortable posting this… but if (you’re) having a hard time right now, just know that (you’re) not alone and you’ll make it through this. (You are) brave and strong.”
Bella, who currently has 43 million followers on TikTok, previously got into hot water after her Rising Sun flag arm tattoo offended Korean netizens.
She later apologized and promised to have the ink removed.
